See it from anywhere.
Keep it even if they take the recorder.
LocalEye records your cameras on a computer in your own home or office. localeye.cam gives you one link to all of them and copies the important moments off-site as they happen.

Every camera you own, from anywhere.
Each place gets its own address, like myhome.localeye.cam - home, the cabin, the shop. It works behind any router: no port forwarding, no fixed address, end-to-end encrypted - and you still sign in on your own server.
$3 a month or $30 a year per place
The important moments, off the property.
Pick what counts: every motion, only people & vehicles, or only alerts. Each clip matches what your Events page plays - 10 seconds before to 10 seconds after - and is locked here for its first 7 days, so nobody can wipe it from the recorder. Watch and download them from any browser.
Basic: 10 GB, up to 30 days - $2.99/month · Plus: 100 GB, up to 30 days - $6.99/month · with or without One link
The recorder stays at home.
LocalEye is free and open source. Recordings, faces and camera passwords live on your own disk; it records, finds people, vehicles, faces and plates and sends alerts with or without this site. The setup guide takes about an evening.
Recordings stay on your server
This site keeps names, addresses and whether each server is online - and only the clips you choose to back up.
Sign-in happens on your server
Passwords and two-step codes are checked by your server, never kept here. Through One link they travel through this site's relay, like the video - passed along, not stored, and with end-to-end encryption not even readable there.

Powered by go2rtc
LocalEye reads your cameras with go2rtc, a free, open-source streaming engine. It connects to each camera once and shares that stream with the recorder and everyone watching, so more viewers never means more load on your cameras. The LocalEye installer sets it up; you only tell it where your cameras are.
Set it up this weekend.
